ABOUT US
Located at its Headquarter in Istanbul, AGpm is a trading company in the field of Dore and raw-material supplier of gold and silver, in the transformation of mixed precious metal bearing scrap and waste materials into pure fine metals. In our works, these fine metals are again used for the production of precious metal, especially to be used in making of high end jewellery and mints, besides keeping as investments in national banks or private investors. We are proud to say that we are one of the few registered gold/ silver mining and dealing companies registered in the Stock Exchange of Turkey. Our Global network is supported by our premises established in Middle Africa, Ghana and Burkina Faso.
Being closed connected to major market institutions, such as mining firms, jewelry manufacturers, industrial users, traders, global logistics companies, financial
institutions and investors, give us an unprecedented advantage in the marketplace.
AG Precious Metals believes in to the principle of sustainability, and therefore is aware that the control and choice of its suppliers is of key importance for a business activity focusing on sustainability. All our effort is focusing to ensure that the sourced metals come from ethical, legitimate sources, and that they have not been associated with crime, armed conflict, violence or human rights abuse.
Our objective is to help companies respect human rights and avoid contributing to conflict through their mineral sourcing practices.
Specifically, we are supporting and following the complete package of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains and London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Responsible Gold Guidance to source minerals responsibly in order for trade in those precious metals though to support peace and development.
We herewith also intend to encourage transparent mineral supply chains and enabling countries to benefit from their mineral resources and preventing the extraction and trade of minerals from becoming a source of conflict and human rights abuses. (it is planned to have been granted as an full associate of LBMA at the end of 2014). A list of these guidance can be found on the document page.
As a short caption;
